Moonlight over Anakiwa

This collection was born from a mesmerising moment overlooking Anakiwa Harbour, witnessing the full moon's reflection on the water. It’s a journey through the moon's phases, captured in silver, Keshi pearls, and even red-heated copper. You'll find a full spectrum of lunar-inspired pieces, from convex, textured circles to simple drops showcasing the luminous sheen of Keshi pearls, hand-cut crescent moons, and intricate copper moons. It’s a complete collection that celebrates the magic of the night sky.

Earthy elegance: Mitsuro Hikime wax creations

Mitsuro Hikime is a 1,300-year-old Japanese wax technique using a malleable blend of beeswax, pine resin, and oil/red wax to create intricate, organic, and striated textures by hand-pulling. The wax is warmed in the hands and stretched, forming delicate, flowing lines for jewellery models which are then cast using lost-wax methods. My Mitsuro Hikime kelp jewellery showcase a stunning balance between earthy aesthetics and modern design. Inspired by the natural elements twisting and twirling sea kelp, these pieces can feel organically rustic yet undeniably contemporary. Each piece is crafted using traditional Japanese Mitsuro Hikime wax techniques, allowing for unique textures and forms that evoke the beauty of nature. This collection offers a mix of rings, necklaces, kanzashi and earrings, with a focus on distinct, sculpted forms.

An obsession with Ginkgo leaves

Once you notice a ginkgo tree, you will know it forever. Its stunning fan-shaped leaves, with colours changing from pea green to gold, possess a unique beauty, where every leaf is distinct—from the perfect fan to the imperfect. I spend hours choosing just the right leaf for each piece of jewellery, tracing its form onto silver to begin the creation process. Because I only use each leaf once, every piece is completely unique, ensuring you own a truly one-of-a-kind treasure.

The Ginkgo biloba, often referred to as a "living fossil," is one of Earth's oldest tree species, dating back over 200 million years. Beyond its natural beauty, it is widely used in traditional medicine to support cognitive function and serves as a powerful symbol of longevity, resilience, and hope. Our Ginkgo jewellery pieces embody these profound meanings, offering not just an adornment but a wearable reminder of enduring strength and natural wonder.

My Ginkgo jewellery is crafted for individuals who appreciate the artistry of nature, the story behind each design, and the subtle elegance of handcrafted silver. It's for those who seek to wear something meaningful, reflecting resilience, uniqueness, and a connection to the ancient world. When you wear a Ginkgo piece, we want you to feel a sense of calm, connection, and empowerment, carrying a symbol of hope and enduring beauty with you throughout your day.
