Red bead kanzashi

Red bead Japanese Kanzashi hair ornaments - Red cermanic bead with brass holders on a single stg silver pin. Feather textured end.
A number of these beaded pins were worn at one time to decorate the hair. The end of the pin was often flared to hold the bead in place and decorated with textures or further dangling chained ornaments. Traditionally larger beads were worn by young women and small beads favoured by older women but this is no longer the case. The pin is approx 16 cm long with a 2.5 cm bead. 1 only - $160.00
