Flower petal oval Kanzashi hair fork - Sterling silver – the simple oval head came from the idea of just using the base of the hair pin. I made my designs and then found that the shape is called a fork and use extensively used in kanzashi design. It is intersting that this shape also become very popular as a hair ornament in europe in the 1920's. The fork is hand cut from 2.5mm silver with simple flower petals fanned into the oval head. The delicate design peeks over the hair giving a elegant sparkle. This hair ornament is an heirloom gift. Approx. 12 cm in length and 3 cm wide.  1 only . $320.00
