Hawks Bay Forget-me-not ring

Hawks Bay Forget-me-not (Myosotis petiolata). This extremely fragile wee native plant grows in a tiny area just out of Napier and in 2019 there was just 1 plant left. It was on the verge of extinction. A recent Press article reported that over the past few years 232 plants have been propagated and so hopefully this will be a "new beginning" for this rare Forget-me-not. Sterling silver full round band with flower, finished with gold guilding paste on the fornices (bumps in the centre of the flower). The flower is approx. 2.5 cm wide and the stamen stick out above the flower. This ring is really for a special person! Size U or 10 1/2 (large size). 1 only, $200.00
