Looks like serpentine earrings

Looks like serpentine earrings. Serpentine is a type of stone that is found everywhere on the West Coast of the South Island, everyone finds it and thinks is pounamu, greenstone. I wanted to capture the colours and smooth form of pounamu but of course it is really serpentine - using enamel. These earrings are convex ovals that are about 2 cm at the widest point, with a full drop of approx 5 cm. They are bright green, flecked with gold.
